If you don’t pay, then you can’t see pictures or messages from anyone…so folks are likely to quit right away if they aren’t willing to shell out $400/year or whatever the price is. I think the problem, at least with eHarmony,is that they get people to fill out profiles before getting to the stage where they ask for money.
